Exploring Drawing Techniques - Materials List
For the first class you will need to bring:
Sketchbook; such as 11” x14” (bigger or smaller is fine)
Variety of good drawing pencils such as – HB, 4B, and 6B
1 Woodless Pencil 4B - 6B
Pencil Sharpener
Kneadable eraser
White vinyl eraser
Blending stomp (any size)
Small mechanical eraser such as a Tombow Mono Eraser
The items below can be purchased as the class progresses:
Fine tip black waterproof pen – such as Pigma micron 005-05 (I prefer to have a few different sizes for variety of line)
Pencil Crayons - 12 or 24 package is fine, artist quality is recommended but not necessary
Optional – Blender Pencil Crayon (If you are not sure of what this is, I will review it in the first class)
Optional – Eraser shield
Optional – Sanding Block (to clean the stomp)
